A new project...

I hope you're getting on well!

I wanted to reach out to tell you about a project I'm starting this summer - a weekly newsletter on some topics I'm currently into. Among these are AI, cybersecurity, and defence tech. I also have a growing interest in startups and venture capital. I plan to write on my analysis of different startups, state-of-the-art research, learnings in business, and industry developments.

During lockdown, I tried something similar and created a podcast called Aerospace4All. Interviewing aerospace professionals proved a great way to learn more about the industry, meet people working in it, and share my findings. Whilst my interests have changed slightly, I still love to chat with people who work on cool things. I hope this newsletter will act as a forcing function for interesting conversations.

As a short personal update, last week I moved to Karlsruhe in southern Germany. I'll be spending the summer here helping with autonomous vehicle research. I'm hoping to make the most of my time here by exploring the Black Forest, improving my German, and finding out about more of the cool work that is going on here. If you happen to be in the area - I'd love to meet up!
